Not every senior session looks the same… and that’s exactly how it should be.

When you start thinking about senior photos, it’s easy to focus on outfits and locations. But the most meaningful sessions go beyond that—they reflect who you are, what you love, and this season of life you’re in right now.

Gabby’s senior session was the perfect example of that.

When we first met for her consultation, Gabby mentioned the idea of having her senior photos taken at a castle. I did some research, but the closest option was over an hour and a half away.

As we kept talking and I learned more about her, a different vision started to come together—one that felt even more like her.

When I saw the records hanging on her wall, I knew we needed to incorporate that into her session. Music and creativity were such a big part of who she is, and that became the foundation for everything we planned.

We started her session at Attic Record Store in Millvale, where she could flip through vinyl and just be herself. It was the perfect way to ease into the session and capture something that felt completely natural.

From there, we incorporated her love of drawing, capturing a quieter, more creative side of her personality. She also brought along her guitar, which added another layer to her story and reflected her love of music in a different way.

We chose a local location with beautiful stone architecture that gave a subtle nod to her original idea of a castle—without needing to travel far. It tied everything together in a way that felt natural and true to her.

And of course, we couldn’t forget her sweet pup, Trigger, who brought so much personality and joy to the session. 🐾

One of my favorite moments wasn’t even planned—we made a quick stop at Starbucks so she could grab her favorite drink. It was such a small thing, but those in-between moments are often the ones that make a session feel the most relaxed and fun.

When I plan a senior session, I’m not just thinking about where we’ll go or what you’ll wear.

I’m thinking about you.
